"Every Moment Is A Fresh Beginning" | Gretchen Elaine Photography Headshots

Every new year I like to start off on the right foot, and yes, that means a new professional headshot! I know many people think that their headshot has to be in front of a plain studio backdrop. Although that is great for some settings, especially if you don’t know where you will be working yet. You can also have incredible headshots done outdoors on location!

I had the absolute pleasure photographing Chris out in Wrightsville near York. It was a beautiful setting by the river and we were able to incorporate the incredible bridge in his portraits!

The best time to get a new headshot taken is now! New year, new you as they say! But it can be very important to have a portrait in hand when going to interviews or before you start your new job.

I personally try to update mine just about every year or two. I want to portray to my clients who I am right here and now. Sometimes old portraits can be misleading if clients and customers don’t recognize you in person.
