This week I wanted to feature a fundraising event that our sister business, Elaine Creations Co., is going on this month.

As some of you may know, March is Colon Cancer Awareness Month. Colon cancer affects many people all over the world and is one of the most common. Unfortunately the age for a colonoscopy is currently 45 years old. That is way too long to wait to get tested. More and more young people are finding colon cancer and are stage 4 even before the testing age.

This testing and supporting those fighting colon cancer is near and dear to my heart because my mom has been battling it since 2018. I not only try to support my mom as much as I can, but I want to support others going through a similar journey.

Elaine Creations Co. has teamed up with Colon Cancer Coalition, an organization who’s mission is educate those about colon cancer, support those who have it, and put an end to it. For the month of March, there are several Colon Cancer Awareness creations including keychains and car charms. 50% of the proceeds from these creations will go towards ending colon cancer.
