"The World Is But A Canvas To Our Imagination"

One of the many amazing rewards about being a photographer is having a different experience and opportunity at every session. It is so much fun for not only myself but also for whoever I am photographing. I love talking with my clients to see what they want out of their session. For this senior, she wanted something totally different then the "traditional senior portraits". I know what you're probably thinking. "These are senior portraits?!?!" Yes, they are indeed!

After talking to Cate, I learned she is involved in her high school's arts programs so I knew it would be a great opportunity to show both of our creative sides! Gretchen Elaine Photography's sessions are meant to be customized and catered to each individual's interests and unique personalities. This session was a lot of fun for both of us experimenting with face painting, dramatic lighting, and creating a totally different look for senior portraits.

I am so excited to share these amazing shots that Cate and I created together, I am looking forward to the upcoming senior sessions to come and can't wait to see what I come up with next.
