"Some Of The Most Wonderful People Are The Ones Who Don't Fit Into Boxes"
One of the best feelings in the world is being a part of something special and life changing. I had such an amazing experience photographing Schreiber's 29th Annual Rubber Duckie Race which is a fundraising event that the money goes towards kids with disabilities. This organization is so amazing with how many opportunities it gives the kids!
Photographing this event was such a cool way to volunteer and also to be able to interact with the kids. No matter their disability, they all had a great time playing games, riding horses, and just spending time with their family! I loved having the opportunity to capture such genuine emotion with the kids and them interacting with volunteers and family.
Personally I would love to work more with kids with disabilities whether it is photographing a fundraising event for an organization such as Schreiber Pediatrics Rehab Center, or photographing their family portraits. Working with these kids and their families is an experience I would not trade for anything!
I would also like to once again thank all of the volunteers and sponsors that helped make this wonderful event happen!
