5. Lancaster City

Lancaster City is the perfect location for seniors who love a more modern / city background. It has so many options to choose from with the busy streets and businesses, to the old style central market, and you can’t forget about the beautiful dining area by LNP! Lancaster city can fit so many different styles for seniors that love the modern look mixed in with classic wrought iron metal and weathered stone / brick.

4. Summer Special - Wildflower Fields

The next featured location on the count down is my summer special at various wild flower fields! This is an all time favorite with my summer seniors. I absolutely love going to different flower fields because all through the summer, different flowers bloom and they are all different colors and sizes. Sunflowers, Daisys, Roses, and many more. If you have a specific color or flower you love, let me know so I can find the best flower field for your session.

3. Simply Woodsy

This location is a little bit different from the rest of the featured locations. Near where I grew up, there is a little field with a trickling stream and trees. It isn’t exactly a place most people would stop and think, “I want my senior session photos taken here!” There is no specific address or a name for it, so I have decided to call it my Simply Woodsy location! It is beautiful any time of year, and for my summer seniors, if you are feeling adventurous, we can even go in the stream and do some really fun portraits in the water. This location is perfect for the seniors who want a nice nature background, but keeping it nice and simple.

2. Historic Poole Forge

Number 2 on my list is one of my top favorite places and a client favorite for years! Historic Poole Forge has so many beautiful backdrops ranging from the old style covered bridge, wooden bridges, grassy field, stone forge, and stone backdrops. There are so many options which makes a perfect locations for seniors who want a couple outfit changes. This location can fit many different styles as well and looks so different during the season changes. Another reason I love Poole Forge is that it is pet friendly, so if you choose to bring your furry friend with you (which is highly encourage :) ) There is no problem getting portraits with your four legged best friend!

1. Ephrata Cloister

Last but not least, my latest addition to the list is the Ephrata Cloister! Yes I know what you are thinking, these photo samples aren’t seniors. These photos are from my first of many visits to this location. I have done several families here and wanted to add it to my list of senior locations as well! In the fall / winter, the lighting is gorgeous and the colored leaves are brilliant! All over the property are weathered wooden railings which make awesome backgrounds. Even having the cloister buildings are very cool! There are a lot of options here as well especially if you like to rustic wooden background.
