Hey everyone! Thanks for visiting my blog and website. For those of you new to Gretchen Elaine Photography, I wanted to pop on here and reintroduce myself. My name is Gretchen Elaine, and I own Gretchen Elaine Photography! I am going on 4 years of photographing people of all ages and I am so excited for all the amazing sessions to come.

In the photo above is me and my love, Devin. He has been a HUGE support since day one and I am so thankful and grateful for him. I like to call him one of my “board of directors” since I run all of my ideas past him to see what he thinks.

Meet my second member of my “board of directors”, my mom, Jen. She has been the biggest support since literally day one. Between her and Devin, they help me with new ideas and keep me in check!

My mom is the biggest reason I became a photographer, she has been photographing me and my family since I can remember. She always likes to say, “My hobby became her career.” My mom is seriously the best and I am so thankful to have her by my side no matter the challenge.

Okay well back to a little more about me…

As you can see, family means a lot to me which is one of the reasons I love what I do. I love being able to photograph people with their loved ones because that is a big part of my life personally. For all you animals lovers out there, I have a quite the zoo at home. Devin and I have 2 kitties, Winter and Paisley, and 2 pups. Lola is a Belgian Malinois and Veda is a Red Irish Setter. They are my kids and my world!

Besides owning Gretchen Elaine Photography, I have a creation online store called Elaine Creations Co. which is partnered with Gretchen Elaine Photography. Growing up I loved crafts of all kinds. I created my online store to go hand in hand with my photography to create props for myself and other photographers. I not only sell props but also decor pieces and lifestyle items like dish cloths and accessories.
