"She Loved Life And It Loved Her Right Back"
With all the craziness of events and activities in life with friends and family, sometimes you just need to slow down and take a break. The simplest things in life are sometimes the most rewarding. With the holidays happening in the beginning of April, I took some time to step back and challenge myself in photographing something so simple yet amazing. Of course I had to choose my most loyal model, my pup, Pebbles!
We don't get to go on too many adventures together since I am pretty busy nowadays. It was a well needed getaway for the both of us! Now if you have ever tried to photograph your pets before, you and I both know that photographing them is no small feat. Instead of trying to pose her, I just sat down and watched her to see what she would do. I loved the look on her face when she would turn around as if to say, "Look at me! This is the greatest adventure ever!"
For such a small dog, she definitely has an enormous personality. One minute she is having a ball playing in some weeds or a creek and the next minute she is sitting so stoic and serious like she is deep in thought. Photographing her is always so interesting because I never get the same expressions. These photos have inspired me to keep in mind to slow down in life once in a while and cherish the simple moments in life because the smallest instances are sometimes the most spectacular.
