"If You Think My Hands Are Full, You Should See My Heart"

This past few months have truly been a whirl wind! Everyone I know tells me I have a lot on my plate from juggling client sessions, vendor fairs, substitute teaching, assisting other photographers, being involved in the Scouting community just to name a few. I am so blessed to have had so many amazing opportunities since graduating from Antonelli Institute last spring. One of my recent ventures and favorite things to do with my business is to go and participate at different local vendor events and fairs.

Many people have asked me what exactly I do at these events and why I love doing them so much. This post is about just that! So to start with, I set up a booth at vendor fairs displaying my portfolio and recent portraits I have taken. At every event I go to, I offer an awesome door prize or  raffle for anyone to come and enter. I love talking to all the different people about sessions they might be interested in, their interests, and of course awesome stories about their friend and family. At these vendor events I not only get to share with others the different things I do in my career, but I also learn and talk to people to start building a relationship with others.

Not only do I get to meet and talk to so many different people that come to events, but I have the opportunity to meet other awesome local vendors. Being a local business, I want to support other locals as much as I can because I appreciate the more personal connection than just buying things at a department store or online.

Starting in November, I am going to be having a featured local vendor in one of my blog posts in hope to get more people use local businesses for amazing and unique products and services.

Also don't forget now through November, Gretchen Elaine Photography is offering a great special for Autumn sessions! Contact me at 717.799.7077 or gehphotos@gmail.com to schedule your session today.
